Flatten The Mountain Skill Tree Planner
Tick boxes in this order. If it is not on the list, do not buy it yet.
This planner is a spend script you run with your eyes, not with an executor. It matches the Skill Tree tier list and the Skill Tree guide. Use it in a notch, not on the eagle rim. If the live UI uses different labels, match the effect, not the poetry.
First session (tick in order)
- Confirm place ID 78724109436030
- Mine enough cash to open the tree (getting started)
- Mining speed rank 1
- Mining speed rank 2 if cheap
- Income rank 1
- Drone unlock / first drone in shop
- Park drone on a colored cluster (drones vs turrets)
- Income rank 2 or speed rank 3, whichever is cheaper
- Cut a notch before you tab out (eagle)
- Glance at codes — none is an acceptable tick
If you complete this list, the session already beat a cosmetic pickaxe.
Mid session
- Second drone on a different face
- First turret, aimed at rock not sky
- Movement node if you have been grabbed twice
- Interior cut and chest scan (buried chests)
- Chest luck only after you have seen a chest
- Flatten the current ring, then drop a layer (how to flatten)
- Call a side if the lobby is live (co-op)
Never tick these until the sun is visible from spawn
- Trails, umbrellas, flex hats
- Extra turrets before two drones
- “Waiting for a code” as a plan
- Executors (script safety)
- Summit selfies as a substitute for a terrace
After a chest or a future code
Spend the lump on the first empty checkbox above, not on a new idea. Chests and codes are fuel. The planner is the engine map.
After a patch
If updates add a named worker, insert it after “first drone” if it prints cash, or after “first turret” if it only deletes voxels. If a prestige appears, do not wipe until the launch notes baseline is compared. Hoarding for rumors is not a checkbox.
How to use this in co-op
One player can read the list aloud. Everyone else mines. Do not open four Skill Trees on the only staircase. The mountain is shared; the ticks are personal. A friend with three drones does not tick your drone box.
Why a checklist instead of a calculator
We do not have official DPS. A calculator with invented +12.7% would be fiction. This list only uses families you can see: speed, income, workers, survival, luck. When DomBlox publishes numbers, we can add them. Until then, ticking beats guessing.
Print this page or keep the tab. When the pickaxe is loud, your memory is bad. The boxes are the memory.
Return to the tools hub if you want the session checklist that includes hopping servers. Return to the tier list hub if you want letters instead of boxes.
Recovery ticks if you already spent badly
- Stop buying trails this session
- Next chest or shop visit goes to a drone if you own fewer than two
- If you own four turrets and zero drones, the next buy is a drone even if it feels boring
- If the eagle has grabbed you three times, movement is the next tree click, not a flex pick
- If you have not cut an interior yet, skip luck and read buried chests
- If the lobby is empty, hop before you idle (players hub)
These recovery ticks are how a bad first hour becomes a normal second hour. They are not a prestige. They are a redirect. Use them once, then go back to the first-session list. The legal auto-farm page is what you open after the recovery ticks are done and a notch exists.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions miners ask most.
What is the best Skill Tree order?
Speed, income, drone, more speed or income, turret, luck after chests. Tick the first-session list in order.
Can I skip to turrets?
Not on this planner. Turrets wait until a drone is parked. They delete rock; they do not print your cash.
Does the planner work after a patch?
Yes if the families still exist. Check updates and insert new workers in the cash-versus-volume slot.
Should I save points?
No prestige is documented. Spend on the next empty box. See the Skill Tree guide.
