How to Flatten the Mountain
Turn a voxel skyscraper into a tanning terrace without stalling.
Flattening is the win condition, not a side quest. The sun is physically behind the tower in the key art. If the peak still exists, you are still in shadow. This guide is the method: cut layers, not statues; spend on workers; use other players; finish the top instead of decorating a hole.
If you have not spent ten minutes in the game, read getting started first. This page assumes a drone exists and the Skill Tree has at least one speed node. If you are still shopping flaming tools instead of workers, read the pickaxe guide and come back.
Think in layers, not tunnels
A tunnel to the core looks productive and leaves a chimney the eagle loves. A layer is a horizontal slice you can walk. Start at a height you can reach without a death run. Clear a ring. Drop workers onto that ring. When the ring is sand, drop one level. Repeat. The overview screenshot is this idea in one frame: a chewed terrace, drones above clusters, turrets on the sides, player in the middle.
Interior cubes still count. If you only shave the skin, the peak still blocks noon. After a terrace is safe, cut inward for buried chests and for the volume that actually lowers the silhouette.
Assign jobs
- You: pick high-value colors, chests, and the next Skill Tree click. You are the brain.
- Drones: parked on payday clusters. Do not babysit them every second. Reposition when the cluster is gone.
- Turrets: thick faces and the side the eagle is not on. Details in drones vs turrets.
- Lobby: extra lasers. Call a compass side in chat. Co-op is how 25 people flatten faster than one person with a flame pick.
If you are the only person on the server, overweight drones. A pretty turret wall on an empty instance is still a slow shop.
Height discipline
The tower is tall enough that a first-person pickaxe shot makes the peak look like a needle. Do not speedrun the summit on foot. Each extra stud is more eagle ring and less cash until workers exist. Flatten up as your tools allow. A mid-height terrace that prints money beats a summit selfie that prints a respawn.
When you do take the top, take it with workers already alive. The top is where the sun-block happens. It is also where the bird has the most room to turn.
Cash routing while flattening
Every chest and every shop visit should answer: does this buy a faster layer? Speed nodes and extra drones say yes. Trails say no. If you are flattening “for content” and still buying cosmetics, you are making a trailer, not a terrace. Use the skill planner as a shopping list you can open over the Roblox window.
Codes, if they ever exist on the codes hub, are just another chest. Spend them on workers.
How you know you are done
Done means the silhouette no longer sits in front of the sun from spawn. Residual stubs are allowed if they do not cast the joke shadow. If DomBlox later adds a “mountain flattened” banner or a tan emote, we will note it on updates. Until then, your eyes are the metric. Walk back to the sand and look up.
If the tower grows back, you have a live-service loop, not a one-and-done statue. Treat a regen as a new layer plan, not a reason to inject a script. Official drones still work on a second mountain.
Failure modes
- Swiss cheese: too many tunnels, no terrace, eagle highway.
- Laser poverty: turrets without drones, shop stuck.
- Rim AFK: you tab out on the lip, bird collects you. Use a notch, as on the auto-farm page.
- Wrong game muscle memory: bombing crystals like Mine a Mountain. This title is cash popups and Skill Tree, not kilogram gems.
Flattening is a construction job. Build a floor, staff it, lower it. The sun is the punchline you already paid for with time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions miners ask most.
What is the fastest way to flatten the mountain?
Speed nodes, two drones, one turret, layer cuts, and a populated server. Not a summit rush and not an executor.
Should I mine from the top or the bottom?
Start at a reachable height, make a terrace, then work up as tools allow. The peak matters, but dying on the way is slower.
Do I have to flatten it alone?
No. Up to 25 players share a server. Split sides in co-op.
Will the mountain grow back?
Treat regen as possible on a live Roblox incremental. If it happens, reuse this layer plan. Check updates for official notes.
