Flatten The Mountain Players and Lobbies

Flatten The Mountain is an online incremental with 25-player servers. That number is not flavor. A full lobby is extra drones, extra turrets, extra eyes on the eagle, and extra arguments about who owns the gold cluster. This hub is about people. The mechanical loop still lives in guides. If you ignore people, you will still flatten, just slower and with more rim deaths.

Why the lobby matters

A drone is a worker. A stranger is also a worker. Their laser does not pay your Skill Tree, but it does lower the silhouette that blocks your sun. Official copy never sold this as a versus game. The eagle is the PvE. Other players are a force multiplier if you split the pie, and a traffic jam if you all stand on one terrace.

The dedicated co-op page is the tactic sheet: call sides, do not stack six turrets, share chest calls, leave a notch for someone else. The leaderboard guide is the ranking sheet: local boards, no official global ladder, how not to grief for a 25-person trophy. This hub is the mindset sheet: when to hop servers, how to read a dead lobby, what a “good” player looks like without a public stats API.

Hopping versus staying

Stay if:

• At least a handful of miners are on the current layer.
• Chat can hear “ring west.”
• Drones are actually hitting rock.

Hop if:

• You are alone and the tower is a needle someone already stripped for clips.
• The lobby is a script argument. Leave. See script safety.
• Nobody has cut a terrace in ten minutes and everyone is summit-posing.

Server hopping is allowed. Grief hopping — joining only to laser someone’s drone nest off a terrace — is how you get blocked. Play the flatten method on every instance you touch.

Leaderboards

Full notes live on the leaderboard guide. Short version: there is no official public global ladder as of September 2026. If a board is on-screen, treat it as a local snapshot of one 25-player room. A player at the top of that room is not the world champion of tanning. They might just have been here longer, or they might have bought S-tier nodes. Ask what they bought before you copy a cosmetic. Third-party “FTM rank” sites that want your Roblox password are not official.

If you want a personal score, use the skill planner as a checklist and note when the sun is visible from spawn. That is a better trophy than a fake sitewide ladder.

Etiquette that saves time

• Do not stand in someone else’s laser lane.
• Do not AFK on the only staircase.
• Do not pop an executor in public. The scripts hub already said there is nothing verified; you will only look like a risk.
• Share chest calls.
• If you own many turrets, pick a side.
• If a beginner asks what to buy, send the tier list, not “just grind.”

Finding people

Friends can join through Roblox as on any experience. There was no official Discord on the universe social-links API at wiki launch. Use official links for the group, not a random “FTM” server. The DomBlox Games community is the long-lived social layer for this studio.

Codes, if they appear, should be pasted from the codes hub, not from a lobby kid who also wants you to click a link.

Play this hub as a reminder: the mountain is shared, the Skill Tree is not. Spend your cash on your drones. Spend your lasers on a side. Look up for the bird together.
